Application for entry in the register of companies in accordance with Section 9 of the Saxon Architects Act (SächsArchG)

The professional titles "architect", "interior architect", "landscape architect" and "urban planner" are protected in Saxony and may only be used in the name of a company under certain conditions. The right to use these professional titles in the name of the company requires the company to be entered in the register of companies of the Saxony Chamber of Architects for companies based in the Free State of Saxony.

• Upon registration, the company does not become a compulsory member of the Saxony Chamber of Architects. Professional obligations apply.
• Companies based in another federal state are entered in the register of companies in that state. These companies are then also authorised to use the professional titles in the Free State of Saxony.

• Application for entry in the list of shareholders (forms & online services)
• Proof of registered office in the Free State of Saxony (single copy)
• Proof of liability insurance (single copy)
• Memorandum and articles of association or partnership agreement (single copy)
• List of shareholders (single copy)
• Registration in the commercial or partnership register (single copy)

Forms

• The company has its registered office in the Free State of Saxony
• Sufficient liability insurance
• Provision in the articles of association or statutes that the company is formed and represented by a majority of members of the profession or jointly with persons who hold the professional title of "Consulting Engineer". In the latter case, registration of the company can only be applied for at a chamber (Chamber of Engineers of Saxony or Chamber of Architects of Saxony) (does not apply to partnerships or PartGmbB)

• The Saxon Architects Act contains detailed regulations on the above-mentioned requirements.

Fee (one-off) for registration

• GmbHs, partnerships under the Partnership Act - with and without limited liability - and other companies: EUR 485.00
• Companies under civil law (GbR): EUR 320.00

Call up the application form via Amt24 and print it out. Submit the completed application form with all the required documents.

• The Saxony Chamber of Architects will confirm receipt of the documents within one month of receipt of the application and, if necessary, inform you which documents are missing.
• You will be issued with a certificate of entry in the register of companies.

Procedure duration: up to three months after submission of the complete documents
