Nationals of a member state of the European Union, another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland are permitted to temporarily and occasionally offer services in a craft requiring a licence. This also applies if you do not have a commercial establishment in Germany. However, you should already be legally established in one of these countries to carry out comparable activities.

You are authorised to temporarily and occasionally provide services in a craft listed in Annex A of the Crafts Code if
- You are legally authorised to carry out comparable activities in your country of establishment,
- there are no prerequisite qualifications in the country of establishment for carrying out the activity in question, or there is no state-regulated training within the meaning of the/EEA Crafts Regulation (EU/EEA HwV) for the activity, if you have carried out this activity in the country of establishment for at least one year.

- Fees are charged for issuing a certificate in accordance with the fee schedule of the respective Chamber of Crafts.
