The property register lists parcels of land with their boundaries, area, utilisation, buildings and other details. It also contains the owner data from the official surveying system, which is taken from the land register for information purposes.

An up-to-date extract from the property register serves as the basis for the site plan for building applications, for verifying property boundaries, for planning and land readjustment and for property transactions.

This includes in particular the property map, parcel certificates and parcel certificates with owner details.

Contact points

• Inspection of the property register and issue of extracts: Lower surveying authority in whose area (district or district-free city) the parcel in question is located (see -> Responsible department).
• Extracts relating to parcels in different districts or independent cities: also available from the Landesamt für Geobasisinformation Sachsen (State Office for Basic Geographic Information, GeoSN)
• in addition: extracts can also be issued by other authorised municipalities and publicly appointed surveyors (ÖbVI)

Note: If you request information on owner details, you may have to demonstrate your legitimate interest.

• In principle, anyone can inspect the property register and obtain extracts.
• Extracts with owner data from the official cadastral survey are issued to parcel owners if the data relates to their parcel.
• This information is only made available to other persons if there is a legitimate interest and there are no obvious interests worthy of protection on the part of the persons concerned.

• Extract from the property map: EUR 23.80 to 47.60 per extract
• Proof of parcel, proof of parcel and ownership and other extracts: At least EUR 17.85 (EUR 11.90 to 23.80 per parcel)
