Damaged areas such as frost heave, potholes, major longitudinal and transverse unevenness, open joints and cracks on carriageways, inadequate carriageway drainage and obstacles on carriageways jeopardise road safety. The respective road owner is responsible for repairing the damage.

If you would like to report damage to state roads, please contact the State Office for Road Construction and Transport (LASuV). If the road runs through a town with more than 30,000 inhabitants, please inform the local town council.

Note: A notification that the damage has been repaired will only be issued in exceptional cases.
