Persons who are established in another member state of the European Union, another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland for the purpose of preparing stability certificates, Section 65 (4) to (6) shall apply accordingly with the proviso that the notification or the application for the issue of a certificate must be submitted to the responsible department.
Upon request, the Ingenieurkammer Sachsen shall confirm that the notification has been made. It can prohibit the activity as a qualified structural engineer and delete the entry in the register if the requirements are not met. § Section 71a VwVfG applies.
Note: Persons who are established in another member state of the European Union, another signatory state to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland for the purpose of preparing stability certificates without being comparable within the meaning of Section 66 (2) are qualified structural engineers if the Ingenieurkammer Sachsen has certified that they fulfil the requirements of Section 66 (2); they must be listed in a register. The certificate shall be issued upon application. Paragraph 2 shall apply accordingly.Notifications and certificates in accordance with Section 66 (2) sentence 6 in conjunction with Section 65 (5) are not required if a notification has already been made or a certificate has been issued in another state; no further entry is made in the registers maintained by the Ingenieurkammer Sachsen.
- Certificate that they are legally established in a member state of the European Union, another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland for the preparation of stability certificates and that they are not prohibited, even temporarily, from carrying out these activities at the time of submission of the certificate
- Proof that they had to fulfil at least the requirements of Section 66 (2) in the country in which they are established in order to work as a qualified structural engineer

- The notification must be made in writing on the prescribed form.
- Upon request, the recognition authority confirms that the notification has been made.
- The recognition authority should prohibit the activity if the above requirements are not met.
