Trade deregistration in accordance with § 14 or § 55c of the Trade Regulation Act (GewO)
If you give up the operation of your trade, you must deregister your trade. The same applies if you relocate your business to another municipality. You must then deregister your business in the previous municipality and register it in the new municipality/city if you continue to operate it. If you intend to change the legal form of your business, a business deregistration is also required. You must first deregister your business under the previous legal form. You then re-register your business under the new legal form.
Note: If you relocate the operation of your business within the municipality, you must re-register your business.
