Notification of the intended commencement of use of the building in accordance with Section 82 (2) of the Saxon Building Code (SächsBO)

You must give at least two weeks' notice before commencing the use of a building. This does not apply if your building project is exempt from procedures.

In the case of a residential building, for example, the commencement of use would be the same as moving into the house. Fireplaces may only be put into operation once the authorised district chimney sweep has certified the suitability and safe usability of the flue gas systems.

Depending on the regulations of the respective authority, notify the lower building supervisory authority of the intended commencement of use online (-> Online application) or in writing using the prescribed form (-> Forms and other offers).

Online notification

To use the online service, you must be registered for a bundID account or for your company's My Company Account.

• Follow the link above under -> Online application and login on the homepage via your bundID account or via your company's My Company Account.
• First select your role (client, representative) and, if necessary, invite other parties to process the online application.
• If all mandatory fields have been filled in correctly at every point in the online application, the persons involved (e.g. principal) can sign it.
  The signatures of the persons involved are replaced by secure identification and authentication via the user account bundID or via the My Company Account user account.

• Complete the form, print it out and sign it.
• Submit the form to the responsible lower building supervisory authority.
