If you wish to hunt as a youth, you must carry a youth hunting license in your name and show it to police officers and hunting guardians upon request.
If you would like to hunt in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth hunting license in your name (minimum age 16 years). To obtain a youth hunting license for the first time, you need proof that you have passed a hunter's examination in Germany.
With a youth hunting license you may only hunt in the company of a custodian with hunting experience or a supervisor with hunting experience who has been appointed in writing by your custodian(s).
With a youth hunting license you are not allowed to participate in social hunts.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by mail or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the supporting documents to be submitted will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth hunting license.
