§ 15 paragraph 1 - 3 and 5 as well as § 16 Federal Hunting Act (BJagdG)

If your youth falconry hunting license expires or has already expired and you wish to continue hunting, you must have it renewed.

If you would like to practice falconry in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth falconry license in your name. If you are already in possession of a day hunting license, but its validity has expired, you can apply for an extension.

You can submit the application in writing or online, if available.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by mail or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be submitted will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all requirements, you will be issued a youth falconry hunting license.

The day hunting license is valid for 14 consecutive days.

• The youth hunting license entitles you to hunt only in the company of a custodial person or a supervisor appointed in writing by the custodial person. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.
• The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in social hunts.
