If the validity of your hunting license expires or has already expired and you wish to continue hunting, you must have it renewed.

If you want to hunt in Germany, you need a German hunting license in your name.

If you already have a German hunting license but its validity has expired, you can apply for an extension. You extend the German hunting license at the authority responsible for your place of residence.

The annual hunting license is valid for a maximum of three consecutive hunting years. The hunting year starts on 01.04. and ends on 31.03.
