If you, as a shooting sports club, already have a firearms possession card (WBK) and want to purchase another firearm requiring a permit, you must apply for this.

If your shooting sports club already has a firearms possession card and you want to purchase other firearms requiring a permit for the club in addition to the weapons registered there, you will need a permit to do so. The permit is granted by the competent authority by an entry in the firearms possession card (pre-entry). With the pre-entry, you have one year to acquire the registered weapon requiring a permit.

In the application for a permit for the further acquisition of a firearm, you only need to indicate what kind of weapon of what caliber you want to acquire. Further information, such as manufacturer and exact model, is not required at first. You do not have to provide this information until you have acquired the weapon and have fulfilled your obligation to report the acquisition of the weapon to the competent authority. The arms dealer must also report that the weapon has been handed over to you.

You must prove that you can safely store the weapon you want to purchase.
