Offers for support in everyday life, conversion of the outpatient benefit amount in kind (conversion entitlement), ordinance authorization:

Anyone who wants to offer low-threshold care services to people in need of care must first have them recognised. The application for the recognition of offers according to § 45a SGB XI takes place individually in the federal state in which the offer is made.

Low-threshold care and relief services are offers in which helpers under professional guidance

1. in accordance with § 45c (3) SGB XI, take over the care of the beneficiaries in groups or in the home area as well as relieve caring relatives and comparably close caregivers and provide advice,
2. according to § 45c Abs. 3a SGB XI
   (a) support the beneficiaries in the household, in particular in the provision of domestic care;
   (b) assist beneficiaries in coping with general or care-related demands of everyday life;
   (c) assist the beneficiaries in the independent organisation of individually required assistance;
   d) relieve relatives or similarly related persons in their capacity as caregivers.

If you would like to offer support in everyday life, you will need recognition under state law.
Each federal state has a competent authority for which the recognition procedure is responsible.
