You must have an important reason for changing your name.

• certified copy of the birth record

The costs are determined by the administrative burden in the individual case.

If you apply for a name change as a limited person with limited legal capacity who is at least 16 years old, you will be questioned and heard by the family court about the application.

Supervised persons are questioned and heard by the care court.
