As a rule, you do not have these if you have been convicted within the last three years before the application for a crime, theft, embezzlement, extortion, theft, money laundering, concealment of unlawfully obtained assets, fraud, embezzlement, unauthorized organization of a game of chance, participation in unauthorized gambling or for an offence pursuant to § 27 of the Youth Protection Act.
• You must live in orderly financial circumstances: no insolvency proceedings have been opened against your assets or rejected for lack of assets.
• The rooms intended for the operation of the trade meet the police requirements with regard to their nature and location and must be suitable for the operation of an arcade.
• By operating your business, there is no danger to the youth and no excessive exploitation of the play instinct to be feared. Harmful environmental impacts within the meaning of the Federal Immission Control Act or a nuisance to the general public, the neighbors or an institution existing in the public interest are also not to be expected.

• Submit your informal application with all the necessary documents.
• The competent authority checks whether you meet all the requirements.
• If you meet all the requirements, you will receive permission.
• You may not start the activity until you have received permission.
