If you have concluded a training contract with a company, this training relationship has been notified by your training company to the regionally responsible body (e.B. Chamber of Industry and Commerce). The competent authority therefore knows in which period you have to take your intermediate examination. The implementation of the interim examination is organised by the regionally responsible body in consultation with the voluntary examination committee. Intermediate examinations only take place in occupations in which the training regulations do not provide for a final examination in two parts.
Participation in intermediate examinations is mandatory for all trainees.
However, an intermediate examination may be omitted for you if another training that has already been completed has been credited with at least two years in your training relationship.
Upon request, you can also take part in an intermediate examination as a retraining participant, but then you or the person responsible for the measure must bear the costs of the examination.
