Approved inspection bodies may require a shortened inspection period for installations requiring monitoring, which is then ordered by the competent body.

After a periodic inspection or a safety-related assessment of systems requiring monitoring, it is possible to order a shortened inspection period.

The prerequisite is the required shortening of the deadline by an approved monitoring body (ZÜS).

Fees and expenses apply.

• Online: Notification of the requirement of a shortened inspection period by the approved inspection body (ZÜS)
• Not online: follow-up action by the authority
• Hearing and ordering the shortened review period after notification by the ZÜS.

• Operation of systems requiring monitoring in accordance with the Industrial Safety Ordinance Inspection Shortening of an inspection period to ensure safety
• The required shortening of the deadline by an approved monitoring body (ZÜS) is required.
• ZÜS shall report this to the competent authority
