Would you like to continue your professional training? Find out about possible financial support.

The premium voucher provides you with financial support for participating in job-related further training. It is part of the education bonus.

The state will pay half of the course fees, up to a maximum of EUR 500.00.

You will receive the voucher in person after an interview at a counseling center.

In Saxony-Anhalt, only event fees of up to EUR 1,000 will be considered.

• Proof of employment
• Income tax assessment for the last or penultimate year

• You work at least 15 hours per week or are on parental leave/care leave
• Your taxable income is a maximum of
  • EUR 20,000 for single persons
  • EUR 40,000 for married couples
• You are allowed to work in Germany
• You have not yet received a premium voucher in this calendar year

Note: The amount of the voucher covers 50 percent of the costs for a course or an examination, up to a maximum of EUR 500.00. You pay the remaining amount yourself.

Arrange a consultation appointment at a counseling center near you. Bring all the necessary documents with you.

After the consultation, you will receive the premium voucher in person.

The premium voucher is valid for 6 months.

In addition to the education bonus, there are other funding programs.

You can receive the so-called "Aufstiegs-BAföG" for advanced training to become a master craftsman, technician, business administrator or educator.

Further training grants primarily support young people with further professional qualifications.

The federal states have their own state programs to promote further training. Find out about individual funding programs online.

In Saxony-Anhalt, further training is also supported by the "Saxony-Anhalt WEITERBILDUNG DIREKT" program. You will receive up to 90% of the training costs reimbursed by the Investitionsbank.
