As a guest auditor, you can take part in individual courses at a university. You do not need a university entrance qualification for this. You are not enrolled during the guest studentship.
You can only apply for guest auditorship for one semester at a time.
Many take the opportunity to get to know the university and their studies.
Even if you are enrolled at another university, you can be admitted as a guest auditor.

You will have to pay a tuition fee for the guest auditors. This depends on the university and your personal and financial situation.
You decide on a course of study at a university. At this university, you apply for guest studentship. Make sure that you submit the application in good time and that it is only valid for one semester.
The university decides whether you are admitted as a guest auditor. In doing so, you check whether sufficient capacities are available.
As soon as you have paid the fee, you will receive a guest auditor card. With this you can then participate in courses.
Many universities offer students from other universities a free guest studentship. In justified exceptional cases, you can even take examinations as a guest auditor. This is decided by the respective examination board.
The guest auditors are intended to give all interested parties an insight into their studies and the university. Even without a university entrance qualification, guest auditors can participate in individual courses. The universities themselves decide on admission depending on their capacity.
