Many healthcare professionals opt for their own practice. Especially in the healthcare sector, the strict conditions ensure that excellent patient care is ensured.

This applies to medical health professions and health professions, such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy and podiatry, e.B.

If you want to work as a doctor, you must first be admitted yourself. This is done by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.

The following applies to all occupational groups in the healthcare sector: if you wish to practise your profession independently, you must register this with the competent health authority. Also in the future, you must announce all changes to your practice in a timely manner.

• Your personal data, such as name, address, etc.
• State examination, professional permit, permit to use the professional title
• Academic degrees and titles awarded

In addition, you must provide information on the area in which you would like to carry out the activity and when you would like to work independently.

Many municipalities offer forms that you can use for registration.

• You yourself are admitted to the profession by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians
• You have taken out professional indemnity insurance

None.

You must register within one month.

The changes must also be reported within one month.

As a rule, the exercise of the activity in a health profession is freelance.

At the same time, however, a practice also means setting up a business. Therefore, you should note that under certain conditions, a business registration may be required.

The registration of your practice takes place at the health office of the district or the district-free city at the location of the practice.
