The state of Saxony-Anhalt unintentionally supports childless couples in financing fertility treatment. Find out more about the requirements here.

Unintentionally childless couples can receive support from state and federal funds in the financing of assisted reproduction measures (fertility treatment).

The subsidies can be paid to married couples as well as to couples living in a non-marital partnership.

What subsidies are there?

You will receive up to 50% of your own contribution back. However, the maximum amount of the subsidy is

• 800 Euro for in vitro fertilization (IVF treatment) or
• 900 Euro for intracytoplasmic sperm injection treatments (ICSI treatments)

The funding is granted for the 1st to 3rd treatment cycle.

• Application for funding for fertility treatment by the federal government and the state of Saxony-Anhalt

• Recipients of benefits are married couples and non-marital partnerships.
• The couple concerned must have their common main residence in Saxony-Anhalt.
• The age of the woman is between the completed 25th and the completed 40th year of life.
• The age of the man is between the completed 25th and the completed 50th year of life.
• The treatment is to be carried out in a reproductive facility in the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
• The respective eligible treatment cycle has not yet begun.
