Eintragung in das Genossenschaftsregister anmelden

Cooperative law stipulates that a cooperative must be entered in the cooperative register. It must be founded by at least three founding members. Registration must be made by the Executive Board in a number authorised to represent the competent registry court.

If information about your company has changed, you must have the commercial register entry changed. Information is, for example:

• Office
• Legal form
• Managing

• Registration
• Statute
• Certificate of appointment of the Executive Board and, if applicable, the Supervisory Board
• Certification of the testing association according to § 11 para. 2 no. 3 GenG that the cooperative is approved to join

To apply, please contact a notary.

• The notary advises on the formulation of the application.
• The registration takes place exclusively by electronic means, for this purpose a publicly certified document is created.
• The declaration is provided with an electronic signature (within the meaning of § 39a Beurkundungsgesetz/BeurkG) and sent to the electronic court and administrative mailbox of the register court.

The business must be registered at the same time as the start of the activity.

Jurisdiction lies with the District Court of Stendal as the central register court.
