Test experts examine and certify in their respective specialist area on behalf of the client or
of the other person responsible under building regulations to comply with building regulations. The test experts
are independent within the scope of the inspection tasks incumbent upon them and are not bound by instructions from the client.

Recognition as a test expert for structural fire protection only takes place if you meet and can prove the general requirements as well as the special requirements for this specialist area (including proof of professional experience and special knowledge). The examination procedure for recognition includes a written and an oral examination.

• Proof of application for a certificate of good conduct for submission to an authority (document type O or P)
• Information on branches and participations in companies
• Proof of fulfilment of the special recognition requirements (including proof of professional experience and special knowledge)
