If a trail camp is to be publicly announced, then you must indicate this in advance.

A traveling camp is a sales event that you temporarily operate outside your commercial establishment and outside a trade fair, exhibition or market from a fixed point of sale.

You must notify the organization of the commercial enterprise "itinerant camp" if the event is to be advertised by public announcement and the travel of participants to and from the location of the itinerant camp is to be carried out by means of transportation provided on a business basis by the organizer or by persons in cooperation with the organizer.

The organizer of a hiking camp shall ensure that the following information is included in the public announcement of the hiking camp:

• the type of goods or services that will be distributed as part of the itinerant camp,
• the location of the itinerant camp,
• the name of the organizer, the address at which the organizer is established, and information enabling rapid contact and direct communication with the organizer, including a telephone number and an e-mail address, and
• in an easily recognizable and clearly legible and otherwise easily perceptible form, information on the conditions under which the consumer has a right of withdrawal from contracts concluded in the context of the hiking camp.

In the public announcement of a hiking camp, gratuitous benefits in the form of goods or services, including contests, raffles and draws, may not be announced.

The following services or goods may not be distributed or brokered on the occasion of a hiking camp:

• Financial investments within the meaning of Section 34f (1) sentence 1 of the Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act,
• insurance contracts and building society savings contracts as well as real estate consumer loan contracts within the meaning of § 34i para. 1 sentence 1 of the Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act (Gewerbeordnung) or

corresponding financing aids against payment,

• certain medical devices (Section 56a (6) No. 2 of the Trade Regulation Act),
• food supplements within the meaning of Section 1 (1) of the Food Supplements Ordinance.

You must provide the following information:

• the place, date and time of the itinerant camp,
• the name of the organizer and of the person for whose account the goods or services are distributed, including the address at which these persons are established, and, in the case of legal persons, additionally the legal form and the persons authorized to represent them,
• information enabling quick contact and direct communication with the organizer, including a telephone number and an e-mail address,
• The indication of the commercial register, register of associations or register of cooperatives in which the organizer is registered and the corresponding register number,
• The wording and form of the intended public announcement,
• The name of a representative authorized in writing by the organizer of the traveling camp mentioned in the announcement, who will manage it on the spot for the organizer.

There are no prerequisites.

The levying of fees is governed by the Administrative Costs Act of the State of Saxony-Anhalt in conjunction with the General Fee Schedule of the State of Saxony-Anhalt.

• The notification of a hiking camp is to be made at the Trade Licensing Office or the Public Order Office of the municipality responsible for the location of the event.
• If the camp is to be held abroad, the notification of the camp must be submitted to the trade office or public order office responsible for the location of the organizer.

You must notify the organization of a hiking camp no later than four weeks prior to the start of the event, provided that the event is to be advertised by means of a public announcement and the travel of participants to and from the location of the hiking camp is to be effected by means of transportation provided on a business basis by the organizer or by persons in cooperation with the organizer.

If you notify the hiking camp late or incorrectly, you will be subject to a fine.

• A traveling camp is a sales event that a trader temporarily operates outside his commercial establishment from a fixed point of sale. This does not apply if the event takes place within the framework of a market, exhibition or trade fair established in accordance with Section 69 of the Trade Regulation Act.
• The organization of the commercial enterprise "itinerant camp" shall be notified to the competent authority if the event is to be advertised by public announcement and the arrival and departure of the participants to and from the place of the itinerant camp is to be effected by the transportation provided on a commercial basis by the organizer or by persons in cooperation with the organizer.
• Responsible: Trade Licensing Office or Public Order Office

You must notify the lower trade authority in whose district the event is to be held of the organization of a traveling camp. If the camp is to be held abroad, the notification must be made to the lower administrative authority responsible for the organizer's place of business. The lower administrative authority is usually the trade office or public order office of the respective municipality.
