According to No. 214.2 Schedule of Fees for Measures in Road Traffic (RFees)
The following bodies are already recognised as an eye test centre and do not have to submit an application:
- Assessment centres for driving aptitude (§ 66 FeV),
- Doctors of the Health Department or other doctors of the public administration,
- Doctors with the area designation "Occupational Medicine",
- Doctors with the additional qualification "Occupational Medicine" and
- Companies of opticians (§ 67 Abs. 4 FeV)
The responsibility lies with the State Administration Office, Dept. of Transport.
