Numerous disabled sports clubs in Saxony-Anhalt offer recreational, competitive and competitive sports for people with physical or mental disabilities and visual impairments. Disabled sports are available in almost all common sports.
Disabled sports also play an important role in the rehabilitation of disabled people during their stay in hospital or rehabilitation facilities.
The organizations responsible for disabled sports in Saxony-Anhalt are the:
- Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Association Saxony-Anhalt e.V. (BSSA)
- Saxony-Anhalt Sports Association for the Deaf (GSVSA)
