If you carry out work with asbestos-containing materials in the medium risk area, you must submit a supplementary notification to the competent authority in addition to the company-related notification, stating the place and time of the work to be carried out.

• Demolition, renovation and maintenance work on materials containing asbestos may only be carried out by specialist companies. At least one competent person authorized to issue instructions must be present on site during the work. Certificates of competence are valid for a period of 6 years.
• Compulsory occupational health care in accordance with the Ordinance on Occupational Health Care must have been carried out for all employees working with materials containing asbestos before work begins.

• You have submitted the company-related notification to the responsible occupational health and safety authority at least seven days before the start of the activity.
• In the case of medium-risk work, a supplementary notification of time and place is required in addition to the company-related notification.
