Under certain circumstances, the entry in the list of architects must be deleted. These include the death of the registered person, if the registered person requests this or if the registered person has given up their place of residence, branch office or place of predominant professional activity in NRW.
The entry will also be deleted if it has been legally recognized in professional court proceedings or if facts subsequently arise or become known that should lead to the refusal of the entry.
- Request by the member for deletion or
- death of the member or
- cessation of residence, establishment or place of employment in NRW or
- the occurrence or discovery of facts which should lead to the refusal of registration or
- A legally binding decision to cancel the registration in professional court proceedings.
The resignation of a member from the Chamber of Architects upon request requires a written declaration. There are no notice periods.
