§§ 4-11 Building Chamber Implementation Ordinance (BauKaG NRW)

Applicants are entered in the lists of architects, landscape architects and interior architects if the registration requirements have been met.

Only persons entered in these lists may use the corresponding professional titles.

• Certificates and diplomas from higher education (Bachelor's and Master's degree, diploma).
• Detailed proof of at least 2 years of full-time practical experience
• Proof of participation in the further training measures required for registration
• Proof of establishment, main residence or place of employment
• Submission of professionally suitable own work from at least two projects, e.g. a scaled-down implementation plan and a scaled-down design plan

• a place of business, main residence or place of employment in NRW,
• successful completion of a degree course in the relevant subject area with a standard period of study of at least four years,
• subsequent practical experience of at least two years,
• Participation in recognized further training seminars (112 hours in total)

Applications are pre-checked at the office, documents are requested if necessary and submitted to the registration committee. The committee decides on the registration application.

Foreign degree certificates must be evaluated by the Central Office for Foreign Education.
