Would you like to find out what data about you is stored at the registration office? You have the option of submitting an application for self-disclosure.
Upon request, you will receive information about the data stored about you in the residents' register.
The information includes
- the data stored about you in the register of residents,
- the recipients of regular data transfers, and
- the purposes and legal bases
- the storage and
- the regular data transfers.
If the data transfers are carried out by means of an automated retrieval procedure or an automated simple disclosure of information from the population register, you can request information about
- the types of data transmitted
- as well as their recipients.
You must identify yourself.
You can identify yourself with:
- your identity card or
- your passport.
Personal application
Apply in person as follows:
- An appointment may be required to apply in person.
- You must present your identity card or passport.
Applying by post
Submit a signed, informal application.
Online application
You can apply for self-disclosure from the population register online:
- When applying digitally, you must authenticate yourself with your electronic ID card, eID card or electronic residence permit (eAT).
Data transfers via an automated retrieval procedure or the data of the automated simple information from the population register are deleted after at least 12 months, at the latest at the end of the calendar year following the storage.
