If you register, deregister or change your main residence at your local registration office, you will receive an official confirmation of registration from them free of charge.

The official registration confirmation can be issued to you in writing or electronically if you use a digital procedure.

The registration confirmation contains the following information about you, if available:

• Surname,
• First name(s), indicating the common first name,
• Doctoral degree,
• date of birth,
• Date of moving in or moving out,
• Date of registration or deregistration,
• address and
• sole residence, main or secondary residence.

You must identify yourself.

You can identify yourself with:

• your identity card or
• your passport.

If you are applying for or collecting a permit through a representative:

• written power of attorney from the authorized person,
• their identity card or passport and
• the identity card or passport of the representative. You must identify yourself.

If you are applying for or collecting the permit through a representative or
representative:

• written power of attorney from the authorized person,
• their identity card or passport and

The following requirements must be met:

• You have registered, deregistered or had your main residence changed.

The procedure is as follows:

• You register, deregister or change your main residence at the registration office,
• You will then be issued with a written confirmation of registration as proof of this,
• if you register or deregister electronically, you will receive an electronic confirmation of registration from the registration office.
