The job of health inspector is regulated in Germany.
This means that in order to work as a health inspector or hygiene inspector in Germany, you must apply for a state permit. With this permit, you can use the job title "health supervisor" or "hygiene inspector" and work in the profession.
The professional permit is issued after passing the state examination or recognition of the foreign professional qualification, if the health and personal aptitude (reliability) and the knowledge of the German language required for practicing the profession are present.

The permit is issued if you have passed the state examination for health supervisors or hygiene inspectors after completing the relevant training.
You must apply for the permit from the competent authority.

If you meet all the requirements, you will receive the permit.
You may only start working once you have received the permit.
