Children and young people who are victims of maltreatment, neglect or abuse are in urgent need of protection and help. Those who are "close" can help most effectively. They are often the only ones who can pass on information and thus initiate help processes.
If you notice signs of such things in your neighborhood, in your circle of acquaintances or even in your relatives, please seek direct conversation and let others know that you are worried or cannot and do not want to accept certain actions.
If you feel that addressing the legal guardians directly does not improve the child's situation, please contact the authorities immediately. Your anonymity is preserved.
Please contact the youth welfare office of your district or independent city or, if you have the feeling that there is a great danger, any police station.
