If your driving license has been revoked by a court decision or by the driving license office, you can apply for a new license after the expiry of the blocking period, if applicable.
A driver's license can only be reissued after a revocation and after the expiry of any court-ordered suspension period upon application. A new license may only be issued if the ability to drive motor vehicles has been restored. This must be proven by the applicant.

The driving license authority charges fees in accordance with the scale of fees for road traffic measures.
The application for a new driving license can be submitted at the earliest 6 months before the expiry of the suspension period.
- Only the driving license classes specified in the FeV can be reissued; if necessary, the classes of the revoked driving license will be changed.
- A new license can only be issued to the extent of the scope of authorization held at the time of the previous revocation.

- After a driving license has been revoked by a court or an authority, an application can be made for a new license to be issued after the expiry of any suspension period that may have been set
- The competent driving license authority is the one responsible in each case (usually that of the place of residence; in the case of legal entities, commercial enterprises or authorities, the authority of the registered office or the location of the branch or office involved).
