In addition to a valid disabled person's pass with at least one of the following symbols "G", "aG", "H", "Bl" or "Gl", you will need a supplementary sheet with a valid token.

If you are applying for the free token for financial reasons, in addition to the application form sent to you for the free token, you must also submit current proof of receipt of benefits to secure your livelihood in accordance with SGB II, VIII or XII or in accordance with §§ 27a /27d BVG.

If you are applying for a free token for health reasons (established mark H and/or Bl), it is sufficient to return the application form or an informal letter of application.

If you meet the above-mentioned requirements for a free token for economic or health reasons, there are no costs. However, if you do not receive any of the above-mentioned social benefits or do not have any of the above-mentioned characteristics, the token can be issued for a personal contribution of 80.00 euros for a period of one year or 40.00 euros for a period of six months.

Please note that the chargeable token can only be issued once the Hessian Office for Care and Social Affairs has received the token fee. The start of validity of the token is always the first of the month.
