Have you lost your identity card? Then you need to report this. In addition, you must apply for a new identity card if you are over 16 years old and do not have any other valid passport document.
If your identity card cannot be found or has been lost, you must report the loss and, if necessary, the retrieval of the identity card to the identity card authority.
You can apply for a new identity card at the same time.

For the reissue of an identity card, fees are charged in accordance with § 1 of the Ordinance on Identity Card Fees (PAuswGebV).
