Occupational health and safety has been provided with a modern set of rules.
As a rule, employers and commissioned persons are advised on the legally compliant implementation of the legal requirements during inspections as part of the monitoring. The advice includes an explanation of the obligations of employers to ensure safety and health at work and the organisational measures required to do so.
The aim of the advice is to make the employer aware of the obligations incumbent on him, the consequences of infringements and the possibilities for fulfilling his legal obligations and identifying hazards as well as defining and enforcing occupational health and safety measures.
Advice at the request of employers or their representatives, e.g. in the case of complex planning or difficult questions about facilities and procedures for occupational health and safety and safety technology, can be provided in individual cases if the appropriate resources are available. There is no legal entitlement to this advice, the above also applies to the content of the consultation and the limits of the advice.
In addition to the responsible regional councils, you can also obtain more detailed information on occupational safety and health in Hesse from the Hesse Social Network of the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration.
The enforcement departments for occupational safety and safety technology as well as the specialist centres at the regional councils of Kassel, Gießen and Darmstadt are generally responsible for monitoring compliance with these regulations and for providing advice.
