Permission for take-offs and landings outside the authorized airfields and within the airfields under special conditions.

Aircraft may also take off and land outside authorized airfields if you have permission from the local aviation authority and the landowner or other authorized party has given their consent.

You must also provide proof of permission for take-offs and landings at airfields in the following cases:

• outside the runways specified in the airfield permit,
• outside the operating hours,
• within operating restrictions.

In addition to permission from the licensing authority, the consent of the aerodrome operator is also required in these cases.

However, permission is not required if

• the place of landing cannot be determined in advance due to the characteristics of the aircraft in question (e.g. balloons or gliders) or
• the landing is necessary for reasons of safety or to provide assistance in the event of danger to life and limb.

However, in such a case, the crew of the aircraft must provide information about the owner of the aircraft and the insurer.

Permission is not required for external landings of gliders, hang gliders and paragliders that are on a cross-country flight, or for manned free balloons.

• You require the consent of the landowner or an authorized person on the site.
• In the case of helicopters, the consent of the municipality is also required.

There is no deadline.

If damage occurs during take-off or landing, the owner of the land can claim compensation.
