§ Section 15 (1) - (3) and (5) and Section 16 of the Federal Hunting Act (BJagdG)

If the youth falconry license has been withdrawn by the issuing authority, you can reapply for it after the specified retention period has expired.

If you would like to hunt in Germany but are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth falconry hunting license in your name. If your day hunting license has been revoked, you can reapply for it from the competent authority after expiry of the specified ban period.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, complete it and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth falconry hunting license.

The daily hunting license is valid for 14 consecutive days.

• The youth hunting license only entitles you to hunt when accompanied by a person with parental authority or a supervisor appointed in writing by the person with parental authority. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.
• The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in group hunts.
