If you are a young foreigner wishing to hunt in Germany and have not passed a German hunting examination, you must carry a foreigner's hunting license in your name.
If you are a foreign citizen and would like to hunt in Germany but are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth hunting license for foreigners in your name If you do not provide proof of a German hunting examination, you can apply for a youth hunting license for foreigners under certain conditions.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.
If you submit the application in writing, complete it and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the supporting documents to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued with a youth hunting license for foreigners.
The annual hunting license is valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01.04. and ends on 31.03..
With a youth hunting license, you may only hunt when accompanied by a guardian with hunting experience or an experienced hunting supervisor authorized in writing by your guardian(s).
The youth hunting license must be presented to the authorized hunting guardians and police officers upon request.
With a youth hunting license, you are not allowed to participate in social hunts.
