If you want to find out more about soil information and preventive soil protection, you will find corresponding data publicly available with the Bodenviewer Hessen.
In the Soil Information System, data available for Hesse on the topics of soil information and precautionary soil protection at the Hessian State Agency for Nature Conservation, Environment and Geology (HLNUG) are made available to the public online via map viewer (Bodenviewer Hessen). These are, for example, soil properties, soil functions, soil erosion hazard or background values. In most cases, the data is also provided as OGC services and can be found in this form in the Geoportal Hessen. Further information and data can also be found on the HLNUG website.
In addition to the provision of information via map viewer, there are also very individual or special requests, which are usually presented by experts in the field of soil protection. Such requests are so individual with regard to data provision and data content that they cannot be assembled in advance, but are clarified with the client on a case-by-case basis.
There is no charge for online use. In the case of individual data requests, the costs are determined according to time expenditure via the fee schedule of the Hessian State Agency for Nature Conservation, Environment and Geology. If an enquiry cannot be processed in accordance with the Hessian Environmental Information Act (HUIG), a user agreement is concluded.
- Maps freely accessible via the Bodenviewer Hessen, data largely freely accessible via corresponding services via the Geoportal Hessen
- Special requests can be made by phone or e-mail
If no online use takes place, the deadlines according to the Hessian Environmental Information Act may apply.
In the context of inquiries under the Hessian Environmental Information Act, the corresponding deadlines must be observed.
