The financial support provided by the state for the project, as well as the eligible expenditure, varies depending on the object of the support. The additional payment ranges from 40% to 90% of the eligible expenditure.

The following projects are financially supported:

• Preparation of supply analyses/supply concepts
• Establishment and commissioning of cross-sectoral local health centers
• Exemplary testing of innovative, cross-sectoral forms of care
• (New) establishment or takeover of a contract doctor's practice
• (New) establishment of a professional practice association of a medical care center or parts thereof
• Establishment of a branch practice
• Establishment of branch offices of medical care centers or local health centers
• Establishment of mobile medical practices

This is highly dependent on the funding object. In the case of a local health center, for example, a doctor's practice must be accredited as a teaching practice at a Hessian university or, in the case of a branch practice, approval must be obtained from the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.
