The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the federal states keep so-called tariff registers. The tariff registers are public. It is possible to obtain information on collective agreements.
All collective agreements that have been concluded for the territorial scope of the federal government or the respective federal state are collected and registered in the collective agreement register. Information is provided to the German Federal Pension Insurance and other public institutions by way of administrative assistance. In addition, employees and employers can inspect the registered collective agreements or obtain information from them.
The collective bargaining register provides information

- the parties to individual collective agreements and their addresses (who concluded the collective agreement on the employer and employee side?),
- the existence or non-existence of a declaration of general applicability and
- the content and individual provisions of collective agreements.
There is also a personal right to inspect the registered collective agreements by prior appointment.
As the right to dispose of the collective agreements lies with the parties to the collective agreement, collective agreements are generally not passed on or sent.

- The official announcements on applications for declarations of general applicability, the enactment and termination of declarations of general applicability can be found in the official section of the Federal Gazette.
Legal information is not provided. For this purpose, please contact a legal advisor, a lawyer, other authorized bodies or - if you are a member your trade union or your relevant employers' association.
After a telephone or written request via the online application form, the desired information will be provided by telephone.
