Under certain conditions, you may be excluded from participating in the European elections.
If you have German citizenship, this is the case if you no longer have the right to vote due to a court decision.
The same applies to you if you are an EU citizen. In addition, you may lose your right to vote because of a civil or criminal decision in your country of origin.

You have been deprived of the right to vote by a judicial decision in Germany or by a civil or criminal decision in your country of origin.
Exclusion from the European elections is as follows:
- the courts send corresponding judgments to the city or municipal administration,
- the city or municipal administration shall record the exclusion from voting rights in the population register.
