If damage has occurred in your company due to the failure of components or safety equipment, you must report this to the competent authority.
The competent authority must be notified immediately of any cases of damage in which components or safety equipment have failed.
The notification must contain the following information:
- Descriptions of the occurrence of the damage,
- the failure of the components/safety equipment
Specific data that can be used to identify the components or safety-related equipment concerned must be communicated to the competent body.
The data includes, for example
- Manufacturer
- designation
- manufacturing number
- Year of manufacture
- Use of work equipment Notification of damage
- Notification requires information
- Descriptions of the occurrence of damage,
- failure of the components/safety equipment
