The Youth Welfare Office will help you find a suitable place. The Youth Welfare Office sets a monthly contribution for the care of the child. The amount of the parental contribution is usually based on the scope of childcare. As parents, you pay the fixed amount to the Youth Welfare Office.

The contribution can be waived in whole or in part or taken over by the Youth Welfare Office if the burden cannot be expected of the parents and the child (§ 90 SGB VIII)
