Applications must demonstrate that the situation of grassroots and health sports in Hesse will be sustainably improved.

Funding can only be provided for projects and measures of outstanding and exemplary importance that have been coordinated with the Hessen State Sports Association and other participating institutions. Funding is provided within the scope of the available funds; there is no legal entitlement.

Application by Hessian sports associations, Hessian sports clubs and other sports organizations. Project descriptions and cost and financing plans must be enclosed with the generally informal application.

An objection to a grant notification can be lodged within one month of notification. The objection must be submitted to the Hessian Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Sport, Health and Care.
