Parents, relatives, friends and teachers are often the first to notice a radicalisation of a young person and at the same time the last to keep in touch with them despite increasing isolation. In order to support them in such a difficult situation in the best possible way and thus to be able to counteract the radicalisation of the loved one together, a professional advisory service is available:
The "Advice Centre on Radicalisation" at the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees is in close contact with various counselling institutions and knows contact persons and networks for the specific topic in all areas. It offers concrete assistance by:
- is a first point of contact, answers frequently asked questions and clarifies the problem within the framework of an initial overview,
- provides initial information about offers of help online and in person,
- offers and arranges personal advice and support from a suitable body in individual cases,
- establishes direct contact with specialists in all areas and
- Contact with other affected persons in a similar situation and/or self-help initiatives.
The services offered by the counselling centre are made available free of charge to all citizens.
