If you would like to use the additional title "Agricultural Accountancy Office", you must apply for this.

The entitlement to the additional title "Agricultural Accountant" can be awarded to you as a tax consultant, tax representative, lawyer and established European lawyers if you can prove comprehensive specialist knowledge in tax and business matters in the field of agriculture and forestry.

Application for the designation "Agricultural Accountancy Office"

Your special professional competence must be proven by an oral examination before a technical committee, which is formed at the Chamber of Tax Consultants.

If you can prove your special expertise through relevant training and you have advised accounting agricultural and forestry businesses for at least 3 years, then you can apply for exemption from the oral examination.

The following persons/groups of persons and companies are entitled to use the designation "Agricultural Accountancy Office":

• The designation "agricultural accountancy office" in addition to the name may be used by partnership companies if at least one partner is entitled to use this designation.
• Tax consulting firms may use the designation "Agricultural Accountancy" as an addition to the company name or to the name, if at least one legal representative is entitled to use this designation as an addition to the professional title.
• Associations, corporations under public law and associations of persons are also entitled to use the designation "agricultural accountancy office" if the head of the accountancy office is entitled to use this designation.

The costs of the procedure amount to 180.00 euros.

Upon request, tax advisors may be granted the right to use the title "Agricultural Accountancy" by the competent Chamber of Tax Consultants. For this purpose, an application must be submitted to the Hesse Chamber of Tax Consultants or via the Point of Single Contact. Proof of professional competence must be provided by means of an oral examination.
