Have you concluded a contract with the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) for the private storage of beef and the storage period has expired? Then you can apply for a subsidy.

The European Union (EU) can support agricultural market prices by granting private storage aid for beef. This supports you as a market participant in crises in the beef sector.

Once you have concluded a contract with the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) for private storage and the contractual storage period ends, you can apply for the aid from the BLE.

• Please refer to the relevant announcement to find out which other documents the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) may require from you.

• The Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) has concluded a storage contract with you for the private storage of beef.
• The contractual storage period has expired.
• Further requirements for the eligibility of beef can be found in the respective announcement.

There are no costs.

Once the contractually agreed storage period has expired, you can apply for private storage aid for beef online, by e-mail or by post from the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE).

Apply for aid online:

• Call up the online application. The online application will be activated as soon as the announcement is published.
• The online application will guide you step by step through the necessary information.
• Upload any required documents and submit the application online. Alternatively, you can print out the completed online application and send it to the BLE by post with the required documents.
• The BLE will check your application and contact you if anything is unclear or information is missing.
• The BLE will send you
  • a decision on the granting of aid or
  • a rejection.

Apply for aid by e-mail or post:

• Download the application form from the BLE website. Note: Forms are only available on the BLE website if there is an EU announcement.
• Complete the application form.
• Send the completed and signed application form with any required documents to the BLE by e-mail or post.
• The BLE will check your application and contact you if anything is unclear or if any information is missing. The BLE will send you
  • a decision on the granting of aid or
  • a rejection.
