If you run a business or work as a freelancer, you can apply for a parking permit. This allows you to park in certain areas for the duration of your work.

Vehicles belonging to a commercial enterprise or a self-employed person may be issued with a parking permit by the competent authority. This can, for example, entitle the holder to park free of charge in restricted no-stopping zones, in residents' parking zones or in parking space management zones (parking spaces with parking meters or parking ticket machines). The special permit is usually only valid for certain individual activities of the commercial enterprise or the self-employed person.

Please note the exact content of the exem ption. Above all, other persons must not be endangered or hindered when using the special permit.

The documents to be submitted vary from authority to authority. For example, you must submit a copy of the business registration and a copy of the vehicle registration document.

The competent authority shall examine the application for a parking card. There is no entitlement on the part of the applicant.
